When you request membership or join an interest list, we may collect your name, email address, location, professional context, experience interests, participation preferences, communication preferences and the written responses you choose to provide.
We use this information to review and respond to requests, understand prospective members, shape programming, plan where Velvet Oak may grow and send updates when you have chosen to receive them.
Velvet Oak does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support website hosting, data storage and communications. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the club, its members or others.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to review requests, maintain appropriate records and operate Velvet Oak. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
You may ask to access, correct or delete the information you submitted. You may also withdraw from optional communications at any time.
